About the lease: This is a 'contract hire' type
agreement; you're not buying the car (or van), so there is no final payment or 'balloon'.
You simply rent this brand new vehicle for
TotMths
months and then give it back. You're
free to then walk away or lease another new car.
Rental Details: This offer is based
on a 'InitRent+NumRents
payment profile', which means that an initial rental of £InitRentPrice10k+VAT
(equivalent to
InitRent
rentals) is payable before delivery, followed by a further
NumRents monthly rentals of £Price10k+VAT
paid by Direct Debit. With some leases
there is an additional 'document fee' payable with the initial rental. On this lease
a document fee of £DocFee+VAT
applies.
Mileage Limitations: The rentals
above are based on driving the car 10,000 miles PER YEAR. Rentals for higher
annual mileages are shown below:

Agreements can be tailored to any mileage
between 10,000 and 40,000 miles per year. If you need a different mileage to those
shown please get in touch.
If you exceed the agreed mileage then
an 'excess mileage' charge will apply. This is payable at the end of the agreement
and is usually somewhere between 3p and 12p per mile. Please call to confirm
the rate for this model. No refund is given if you drive less than the agreed
mileage - so make sure you drive this thing!
Optional maintenance contracts:
The rentals shown for our lease cars do NOT include maintenance. Therefore,
you need to arrange and pay for servicing and replacement tyres. However, bear in
mind that service intervals for most new cars are now a minimum of 12,000 miles,
with some up to 18,000 miles, so maintenance costs will be minimal. Any servicing
you do need can be carried out by any VAT registered garage, as long as the manufacturer's
genuine parts are used. Remember that your brand new lease car will be covered
by the manufacturers warranty, so any repairs will be done free of charge by your
local
make
dealer. If you really want to include a maintenance contract
to cover servicing and tyres, its no problem - just contact us for a quote.
Road tax: All of our lease cars include
road tax. The replacement tax discs will be sent through the post
a week or so before the old disc expires.
Other costs: Car leasing from the
Car Leasing Shop is a very cost effective way to drive a nice new car. However - bear
in mind the following costs! a) Insurance - your lease car MUST be covered by a
fully comprehensive insurance policy at all times. (Anybody covered by your policy
can drive the car). b) Fuel - yep, I'm afraid you need to buy some of this.
Free delivery
& collection: Lease cars from
the Car Leasing Shop are delivered
to, and collected from any UK Mainland address FREE OF CHARGE.
Please note, occasionally lease cars will be delivered on a truck or trailer, but
more often they will be driven to your address. The delivery mileage is then
deducted from your total mileage allowance.
At the end of the lease: We'll contact you
to arrange a convenient time to
collect the car. Before taking it away
an inspection will be done to record the
vehicles condition. Please read

happens if the vehicle has any damage
that is considered to be beyond normal 'fair wear and tear'.
VAT & Tax allowances: If you
operate a VAT registered business then you'll be able to claim back half of the
VAT on lease car rentals (and all of the VAT on
rentals for vans or pick-ups). All businesses can offset a proportion of rentals against
taxable profits. The exact proportion is determined by a calculation known as the
'half the difference rule'. (Call us or ask your accountant to explain!) Suffice
to say, that for most cars and vans Contract Hire is THE most tax efficient way to drive.
Company car tax: Unfortunately, if you're an employee or director
of a limited company, then you'll most likely have to pay a 'benefit in kind'
tax in respect of your company vehicle. The Car Leasing Shop guide to

make a note of the P11d value and emissions figure given above.
